Iranian film ‘No Date, No Signature’, directed by Vahid Jalilvand, has been scheduled to go on screen at the 74th edition of the Venice International Film Festival in Italy.
Jalilvand’s movie, produced by his brother Ali, will represent Iran at the Orizzonti (New Horizons) section of the event.
Hediyeh Tehrani, Amir Aqaei, Saeed Dakh, Alireza Ostadi and Navid Mohammadzadeh star in ‘No Date, No Signature’.
The movie narrates the story of Kaveh Nariman, a doctor who works at the Iranian Legal Medicine Organization. He has to examine the corpse of someone that he used to know in the past.
‘No Date, No Signature’ premiered at the 35th edition of the Fajr Film Festival and received three Crystal Simorghs, including the best director, the best actor in a supporting role and the best sound awards.
Rakhshan Bani-Etemad is designated as a member of the jury panel at the Orizzonti (New Horizons) section of the event.
